Barbara Corrado Pope will read from her new novel, The Blood of Lorraine, at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 10 in the Knight Browsing Room at the University of Oregon library. This second mystery in the Bernard Martin series plunges the reader deep into the vortex of anti-Semitism in 19th-century France. It has already received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly. Jennifer Chambers is pleased to announce that her ghost story "The River Shack," will be published in the horror anthology Haunted (Pill Hill Press). Haunted, an anthology of supernatural, suspenseful short stories that take place in or around a haunted house, is scheduled for release Summer/Fall 2010.
